Technologies

A work of art with high value deserves the finest possible craftsmanship. After years of testing different materials, printing techniques, and framing solutions, we have refined our production process to meet the highest standards of archival printing. And not only that — each print also meets the highest possible aesthetic demands. Every photograph is carefully processed and finely tuned in harmony with color balance and composition. Thanks to this approach, Filip’s work has received numerous international awards. These qualities are, of course, fully transferred into our fine art print products.

For printing and shipping, we work closely with WhiteWall, a professional photo lab that meets our most demanding requirements. In 2013, 2017, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025, WhiteWall received the prestigious TIPA award for Best Photo Lab in the World. You can therefore be confident that when you order one of our prints, what arrives at your home is not just an image, but a true work of art whose value will not diminish over time.

Furthermore, all prints are produced as limited editions. All test prints are destroyed after detailed inspection, ensuring the authenticity and long-term value of each limited edition we offer. In the sections below, we present the technologies and processes used in the creation of our fine art prints.

Acrylic Glass Fine Art Prints

Gallery-Quality Mounting

Acrylic glass fine art prints with a solid aluminum Dibond backing are very sturdy. The timeless design of photos on glossy acrylic meets the highest professional requirements.

1.) Acrylic Glass, 1/8 in. (4mm) thick. Acrylic glass is light, shatterproof, and resistant to temperature fluctuations. The properties of fine art print are intensified when it is mounted under glossy acrylic glass, which highlights the vivid color, contrast and enhances the impression of depth.

2.) Fine Art Paper Fuji Crystal DP II is Fujicolor’s leading photo paper for gallery prints. This photo paper has an extremely wide color gamut, and is non-fade for at least 80 years.

3.) Alu Dibond Mounting. The fine art paper and acrylic glass are mounted onto a double layer of Aluminum Dibond to ensure maximum rigidity without bending, even in larger sizes. This is a gallery-grade archival standard designed to withstand frequent handling and transport.

Archival Fine Art Paper

Fuji Crystal DP II is a premium photographic paper renowned for its exceptional image clarity and depth. Built on a high-quality silver halide base, it delivers outstanding sharpness, smooth tonal transitions, and vibrant yet natural color reproduction. Deep blacks, luminous highlights, and a refined surface finish give images a striking sense of realism and presence.

The glossy surface enhances contrast and detail, making it especially suitable for photographs where light, color, and precision play a central role. Professional photographers rely on its combination of ultra-modern laser technology, traditional photochemical development, and the renowned, high-end photo paper from Fujicolor.

With a paper weight of approximately 234 g/m², this paper is an ideal choice for collectors who seek a visually powerful print with a clean, contemporary appearance and a finish that brings images to life with clarity and brilliance. This photo paper has an extremely wide color gamut, and is non-fade for at least 80 years.

Aluminium Rails Mounting System

The aluminum rails mounting system provides a clean, secure, and gallery-grade solution for hanging premium fine art prints. Mounted discreetly on the back of the artwork, the rails ensure perfect stability, even for large formats, while keeping the print precisely aligned on the wall.

This system distributes weight evenly across the surface, preventing warping and maintaining long-term structural integrity. At the same time, it allows the artwork to float slightly away from the wall, creating a refined, contemporary presentation favored by galleries and collectors alike.

Designed for durability and ease of installation, aluminum rails offer a professional mounting standard that combines minimal visual impact with maximum reliability — an ideal choice for high-value artworks where precision, aesthetics, and longevity matter.

Of course, these aluminum rails are included in the price of every print and are mounted prior to delivery. This means that once the artwork arrives, it is ready to be hung immediately.

Frequently asked questions

What is a limited edition fine art print?

A limited edition fine art print is a photograph produced in a strictly defined number of copies. Once the edition is sold out, no additional prints will ever be created. Each print is individually numbered, signed by the author, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its rarity and long-term value.

How many prints exist in each edition?

Each artwork is offered in a clearly defined edition size, depending on the collection. Premium Collection prints are limited to a maximum of 20 copies worldwide. Prestige Collection prints represent the highest level of exclusivity and are limited to a maximum of 5 copies worldwide.

Do the prints come with a certificate of authenticity?

Yes. Each print is delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity that includes the artwork title, edition number, print size, and confirmation of authorship. This certificate guarantees the origin and legitimacy of the artwork. Certificate is shipped separately on our costs.

What printing process and materials are used?

All prints are produced using museum-grade archival printing processes. We use premium fine art papers and archival pigment inks to ensure exceptional detail, tonal depth, and long-term durability. Under proper conditions, the prints are designed to last for decades without noticeable degradation. You can learn more on our TECHNOLOGIES page.

Are the colors and tones exactly the same as shown on the website?

While we strive for accurate representation, slight variations may occur due to differences in screen calibration and lighting conditions. Each print, however, is carefully color-managed and approved by the artist to reflect his intended vision as faithfully as possible.

How are the prints packaged and shipped?

Every artwork is professionally packed using protective materials designed specifically for high-value fine art. Prints are shipped insured and handled with the utmost care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Shipment is provided directly by Whitewall.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged?

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please notify us immediately upon delivery and provide photographic documentation of the damage and packaging. We will offer prompt assistance and ensure that the issue is resolved without unnecessary delay, including replacement or compensation where applicable.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the limited and collectible nature of our fine art prints, all sales are considered final. However, if an issue arises related to damage during transport or a proven production defect, we will address the situation individually and fairly.

Can I request a custom size?

Print sizes are carefully selected by the artist to preserve the integrity of the composition. Custom sizes are generally not offered. If you have specific requirements for architectural or interior design projects, please contact us to discuss possible options.

How long does delivery take?

Each print is produced to order. Production and preparation typically take several weeks before shipment. Estimated delivery times may vary depending on destination and customs procedures. Detailed timing information will be provided upon purchase.

Is international shipping available?

Yes. We ship worldwide. International buyers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.

Is fine art photography a good investment?

While fine art photography should primarily be collected for its artistic and emotional value, limited edition works by established artists can gain value over time due to their rarity, provenance, and recognition. However, art purchases should never be viewed as guaranteed financial investments.

Can you help me choose the right artwork for my interior?

Yes. We are happy to assist collectors, architects, and interior designers in selecting the most suitable artwork based on space, scale, and atmosphere. Personalized consultations are available upon request on the contact form.
